For category B (car), you must be at least 17.5 years old.
– Visit the District Road Transport Department (RTD) office or the citizen service center or the Postal Services Department with your identity card (for Cypriot citizens, the entire process can be authorized through our office). For citizens of other countries who have had permanent residence in the Republic of Cyprus for the last 6 months, their presence is required, providing all original documents (not copies).
– Fill out form TOM7Δ and pay the pre-examination fee.
– The examination is theoretical and includes questions from the traffic code.
– Upon passing the exam, you will receive a success certificate, which you present at the cashier alongside two recent photos in order to obtain your Learner’s Driving License.
– Preparation for the exam and the above process will be done with your instructor, so don’t worry.
– Note: An appointment is necessary at all the departments
– Note: The Learner’s Driving License is valid for one year and it can be renewed.
